In an exciting finish the California Gangsta Luv pulled out a win over the
Caracas Leones by a score of 5 to 4 at the ballpark.
The deciding run was scored by California in the 9th. Juan Pierre smacked a
single. After an out was recorded, Carlos Guillen came to the plate and
doubled making California the victors to the delight of the home town
faithful. Overall California out-hit Caracas 12 to 9.
Dave Burba(5-3) got the win allowing no runs in 4 innings. Scot Shields(4-6)
took the loss in relief. He surrendered 3 hits and no walks in 3 innings.
